This week’s episode is about how the ego glorifies things and makes something that is meaningless our entire existence. This could be the job, getting the next material item, the unnecessary drama that we love sometimes, or the need to always win an argument.

The list is countless, but the point is when the ego makes you think you need to win or be the first in the race, even though it’s a rat race, that makes you feel that everything revolves around you. The deeper you go in your awareness, you realize we do not matter and our silly ideas about success and failure do not matter.

This is all a product of social and cultural conditions. In this episode, Chandresh shares this uncomfortable insight that so much of what we do is actually a meaningless, unconscious repetition of things and when we realize that none of that matters, then the real experience of life starts to wake up and expand through us. Then we realize that surrender, devotion, and liberation from this kind of conditioning matters and we have to get out of our own way to experience that.
